Refund Policy
Order Cancellation

A Joey Named Jack Babywearing reserves the right to cancel your order prior to shipment if the order is deemed to be fraudulent by our website security systems, if the stock ordered is unavailable or if we are unable to fulfill the order for any reason. Large product releases can result in accidental products being added to our website.
If a customer should request cancellation of their order prior to the shipment being processed, particularly through a third party shipping agent, a 10% cancellation fee will be charged to cover website and payment fees and administration time.
Returns

If for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, it can be returned for an exchange or store credit within 30 days of the purchase date. No exchange or store credit will be offered for purchases after 30 days.

All items being returned must be in original condition, unused and/or unworn, labels intact and in original, undamaged packaging. If the items returned are not intact or are in a different condition to when they were sent from A Joey Named Jack Babywearing, the customer may be only eligible for a partial refund.

A return due to 'change of mind' will result in a 20% administration and restocking fee being charged and the customer will be liable for the full cost of tracked return shipping.

No returns will be accepted for items that have been washed and/or used due to hygiene reasons.
There are no exchange or refunds for gift vouchers, sale or out of season items. Items purchased by gift card will be eligible for store credit or exchange all the above has been met. Services, including but not limited to baby carrier demonstrations, baby carrier accessories, baby carrier fittings, presentations and product demonstrations, and Kangatraining classes, are not eligible for refund under any circumstances. (Please refer to below for more on Kangatraining returns).
Kangatraining

Full payment is required before your first session to secure your place. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you are unable to attend your class due to sickness and more than 2 hours’ notice is given, you can request to make-up your missed class another day at any of Kangatraining Padbury, Greenwood and Surrounds class but must be used during the same term as your missed class. Less than two hours’ notice or no notice will be marked as attended. A maximum of 2 make-up classes will be given per term. There will be no make-up classes available for unlimited passes as the benefit of this package is you can come as much or as little as you like from week to week. Trial classes are also non-refundable, but you can use it another day at one of our classes.

KangaMix Outdoor Classes: If for any reason weather doesn’t permit our outdoor class, you will be credited another class to be used the following week or anytime within the term pass is purchased.

In the instant of a lockdown or restrictions due to covid 19 or any other reason, classes and enrolments will automatically move online and/or outdoor.

Refunds

Once your return is inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and the inform you of the approval or rejection of your return. If a refund is approved, a credit will be processed within the following few days (times will depend on the channel used for payment but usually 1-10 business days). Your refund amount will be minus any fees charged by your payment provider (including but not limited to Stripe and AfterPay).
Shipping costs will not be refunded regardless of the reason for return. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from any refund applicable, if the return shipping is arranged by A Joey Named Jack Babywearing. Please note, the customer will also be responsible for payment of the shipping cost for any products exchanged.
Returns should always be shipped with tracking included, and insurance may be required for items valued at $100 or more. A Joey Named Jack Babywearing has no control over shipping companies and therefore we are unable to guarantee that we will receive your returned goods.
