Holding Hope is a community initiative by the  Australian Babywearing Association, dedicated to making babywearing more accessible for caregivers and their babies across Australia. During times of crisis, financial hardship, or other exceptional circumstances, Holding Hope provides donated baby carriers to families in need, offering both practical support and a sense of comfort.

Donate those trusty baby carriers, knowing they will be passed on to families who can truly benefit from them. You’re not only clearing space in your home, you’re sharing the gift of closeness, connection, and support with another parent who may need it more than you could know.

Holding Hope is more than just a baby carrier donation program, it’s a support system that understands the challenges of parenthood and responds with compassion. If you're an Australian family facing financial stress, domestic violence, or other difficult circumstances, Holding Hope is here to help you access a safe, comfortable carrier for your baby.

A Joey Named Jack Babywearing is proud to be an official donation point for Holding Hope. You can now drop off your pre-loved carriers and reliable carriers that have already been part of your journey, at our home showroom. We’ll work directly with the Australian Babywearing Association to ensure your generous donations reach families who need them most.

Here in Western Australia, we work directly with Little Things for Tiny Tots to help distribute new and preloved essential baby items to families in need through partners including non-profit support services, hospitals and government agencies.

So go ahead, dust off those carriers and be part of something meaningful. Give a family in need the gift of connection, like a hug, passed from one parent to another.
