The MySol® is an alternative or supplement to the sling, with which you can carry your child from newborn to toddler age safely, comfortably and ergonomically in front of the stomach and on the back. 
 
The MySol® was developed by Girasol in collaboration with experienced babywearing advisors, lovingly woven and sewn by small handicraft businesses in Guatemala: 
Wearing conscience, fair trade and handmade for an intimate and comfortable wearing experience. 
 
The MySol® is designed to grow with the child so that they can enjoy it for a long time: The bar between the legs is infinitely and easily adjustable: important for adopting the spread-squat position and promoting healthy hip development - especially in the first year of life. 
 
Something very special is the patented double tunnel: The back section can be extended so that the carrier fits securely and comfortably even after the first big leaps in growth. For this purpose, the hip belt can be threaded into the lower tunnel from dress size 74/80.
 
With the version with a buckle belt, you purchase a so-called half buckle. It is easier to use a buckle hip belt, especially when carrying on the back (possible from the time your baby's head is in control). If different people are wearing the MySol®, the buckle hip belt must be adjusted to the person wearing it - but this only takes a few seconds.
 
 
The MySol® is made of two layers of the high-quality cross twill sling fabric, which hugs the baby like a second skin and thus provides optimal support. 
 
The integrated, adjustable hood holds the head while sleeping and protects from the sun, the neck area can be adjusted in width. Padded shoulder straps and a padded and stabilised hip belt also make the MySol® comfortable for the wearer. 
 
We have deliberately avoided complicated adjustment options in the development, but have included a relieving chest strap for back carrying and a practical hip pocket for important small items such as wallet, keys, smartphone, etc.
 
Plant Colour:
 
We are proud to present you our collection dyed purely with plant dyes. We are particularly pleased because this brings together two traditional Mayan techniques, thus ensuring that the tradition is maintained and passed on. 
We were able to win over a small cooperative of Tz'utujil Maya with their traditional knowledge of plant dyeing for a collaboration and are very happy about the cooperation!
So now we have a baby carrier made of 100% untreated cotton, exclusively dyed with the power of nature, handmade.

Please note that plant dyes can never be 100% lightfast. Depending on the type of plant used, the colour will be a little lighter, sometimes a little stronger. But that is the nature of natural products - this is not a quality defect!
 
Merigold is dyed with a plant with the Latin name Tagetes Lucida. In German, among other things, known as winter tarragon or velvet flower. The plant is among other things popular for tea or so as a spice in the kitchens. Unlike our also available design Fresh Merigold, here the dried plant is used, which leads to a softer shade.
